An early 2 to 2.5 hour drive to Basho Valley — green mountains, meadows, streams and the Chocolate Rocks — with fishing, cricket, horse riding, a barbecue and its Chinese restaurant. Overnight: luxury hotel in Skardu.
Visit Katpana Lake and desert, then Shigar for a jeep safari and paramotor at the Sarfaranga cold desert, Blind Lake and Shigar Fort, with dinner at Serena Shigar Fort. Overnight: luxury hotel in Skardu.
Explore Skardu town and the bazaar if time allows, then fly back to Islamabad. End of tour.
