Day-by-Day Itinerary
5 Days TotalFly from Dubai to Skardu. Visit Lower Kachura Lake at Shangri-La Resort, 18 km from Skardu, Upper Kachura 3 km further on and Soq Valley just beyond — boat rides, a short hike, gardens, streams and tree houses.
A 103 km drive to Khaplu for Serena Khaplu Palace, the Chaqchan Mosque, the old khanqah, the organic rest house at Ghowari, Crystal Lake at Sogha (20 km from Khaplu) and a trout farm.
Katpana Lake and desert for horse rides and a jeep safari, then Shigar — quad bikes, dirt bikes, paramotor and a barbecue at the Sarfaranga desert, Blind Lake (optional), Shigar Fort, the Amburiq Mosque and the cherry, apple and apricot orchards of Hashupi Garden.
A 3 to 3.5 hour drive to Basho Valley for its streams, meadows, forest, river and the Chocolate Rocks, with fishing, horse riding and an optional bonfire or camping.
After breakfast, fly back to Dubai. End of tour.
