Day-by-Day Itinerary
7 Days TotalPickup in Islamabad for the 3 to 4 hour drive to Muzaffarabad. After lunch, head into Neelum Valley via Dhani or Panjgran Waterfall to Kutton.
An early start past Athmuqam, Keran, Dowarian, Khawaja Seri and Dosut to Sharda for river rafting, boating, trout and an optional 10-minute walk to the ancient Sharda ruins.
Drive to Kel via the Shangrila Sharda road, then the chairlift and a hike up to Arang Kel for green meadows and mountain views.
An early drive to Taobat on one of the most scenic tracks in northern Pakistan, through Janawai, Phulawai, Sardari, Halmat, Nikro and Karimabad, with stops for views and photos.
A full day to explore the villages and meadows of Taobat on foot.
Drive back down the valley to Keran, with an optional visit to Upper Neelum.
After breakfast, drive back to Islamabad or Rawalpindi. End of tour.

Fly or travel by road to Islamabad, and the trip starts there. Along the road you’ll find waterfalls, charming villages, Nauseri Dam and Line of Control viewpoints, and at Sharda you can go river rafting and boating on the Neelum River.
