Day-by-Day Itinerary
6 Days TotalVia Kohala and the Kashmir Waterfall to the Muzaffarabad viewpoint, then up to the hilltop of Pir Chinasi.
Up the Neelum Valley road past Patika and Dhani Waterfall, with stops at the Line of Control viewpoints, to the riverside village of Keran.
To Sharda for the ancient Sharda ruins, then the cable car across the river and a hike of about 45 minutes up to the meadows of Arang Kel.
Along the 4×4 track through the Upper Neelum Valley, beside the river, to the village of Taobat.
Back down the valley to Kutton in the Jagran Valley.
Drive back via Muzaffarabad to Islamabad. End of tour.
Islamabad → Kohala → Muzaffarabad → Pir Chinasi → Keran → Sharda → Arang Kel → Taobat → Kutton → Islamabad
About This Package
A 6-day economy road trip through Azad Kashmir for four people, from Pir Chinasi above Muzaffarabad all the way to Taobat at the top of the Neelum Valley. You start with Kohala, the Kashmir Waterfall and a night on the hilltop at Pir Chinasi, then follow the valley past Dhani Waterfall and the Line of Control viewpoints to Keran.
From Keran you visit the ancient Sharda ruins, cross the river by cable car and hike about 45 minutes up to the meadows of Arang Kel for the night. Day four takes the 4×4 track to Taobat, and the last night is at State Continental in Kutton.
A Toyota Corolla with an experienced driver, fuel, tolls, parking and five nights in hotels and guest houses are included. Meals, the local 4×4 to Taobat and the cable car are not. Arang Kel and Taobat are best from May to October.
