Day-by-Day Itinerary
8 Days TotalAn early start for the 280 km, 6 to 8 hour drive on the Hazara Motorway via Balakot, Kiwai Waterfall, Paras, Mahandri and Kaghan Bazaar, with the Makra Peak viewpoint and melting glaciers on the way.
Take a jeep up to Saif-ul-Malook Lake for boating and photos, then Naran Bazaar.
A 7 to 8 hour drive via Burawai, Jalkhad, Lulusar Lake, Babusar Top, Chilas, the Nanga Parbat viewpoint, Jaglot and Gilgit to Hunza. Visit Karimabad Bazaar, Altit and Baltit forts and Eagle’s Nest viewpoint.
Attabad Lake, the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Borith Lake and the Batura Glacier.
Via Sost and the views at Misgar to Khunjerab Pass, the checkpoint and the China border.
Drive to Naltar Valley for Firoza, Blue and Satrangi lakes, then on to Gilgit.
Drive back over Babusar Top to Naran.
Return to Islamabad. End of tour.
