Day-by-Day Itinerary
5 Days TotalFly to Gilgit and drive about 100 km, 2 to 3 hours, on the Karakoram Highway to Karimabad. Visit Altit and Baltit forts, Eagle’s Nest viewpoint and Karimabad Bazaar. Overnight: Karimabad.
An early drive to Attabad Lake, the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, Borith Lake, the Batura Glacier and the zipline at Gulmit. Overnight: Karimabad.
An early start for the 287 km, 8 to 9 hour drive via Gilgit, Jaglot and the turn at the Jaglot–Skardu road to Skardu. Overnight: Skardu.
After breakfast, Lower and Upper Kachura lakes, Sadpara Lake and the Sarfaranga cold desert. Overnight: Skardu.
Explore Skardu Bazaar, then fly home from Skardu Airport. End of tour.
